Villager Roles

Agitator - Once per game, at night, they can whip the village into a frenzy and force the village to make two lynches the following day. The whole village will get a message on the morning after that the Agitator has used their ability to let them know there will be two votes required. Once this ability is used, it cannot be used again.

Clone - This role chooses another player the first night. If the player they chose dies by wolf or hanging, the clone becomes that role. i.e.: clone of the seer becomes a seer, clone of a wolf becomes a wolf.

Cupid - Binds two players together each night. Whatever happens to one happens to the other. They are paired until Cupid pairs the next night. If they are killed or turned, pairings are only active through the next daytime Blood Board.

Diseased - if attacked, you will die. However, the wolves will get a terrible case of food poisoning and will be unable to kill the following night. If the diseased is turned, the wolf pup dies due to immature immune system if applicable.

Doctor - The doctor has the ability to save ONE player from the wolves. The doctor cannot disclose when they saved. They do not get to select a specific player to save, but rather chooses to save or not save during the night. Saves do not work on turns.

Drunk - The drunk can ONLY communicate in Memes, gifs and emoji’s. If the drunk speaks, even once, then they will be killed the following nightfall.

Elder - The Elder is a member of the Village. They can survive a single night kill, but if they are voted out, all village-aligned players lose their roles and become normal Villagers.

Governor - Can save one individual from hanging. They have to contact the mod 15 minutes before hanging with the name of individual they'd like to save. If the individual they saved doesn't end up hung, save will be wasted.

Gravedigger - This villager has a deplorable job but they learn some pretty neat things in the process. Each night, they learn not only who died but how they died. They must be careful how they share the knowledge they’ve uncovered, otherwise they’ll be digging their own grave.

Hermit - More of a loner that lurks in the chat. To interact they must be spoken to. (Directly or indirectly) But, if there is an individual who has the most votes that they believe to be innocent, they can take them and hide them in their hermit home, effectively saving them. The villager with the next highest votes is killed instead. However, if the hermit hides a wolf, they will die. Hermit must use their ability 20 mins before the vote closes.

Huntsman - a brave villager who has a chance every nightfall to protect another player. If the player the huntsman is protecting is chosen to die, the huntsman and the killing wolf will die. The huntsman cannot protect the same villager two nights in a row. If the wolves turn the villager the huntsman is protecting, both players will be turned.

Insomniac - This poor player has nothing but sleepless nights and hears everything that happens. They will be told a random player with a wolf role every other night starting the third night.

Jafar - They tried casting a spell to give themself extra powers to help the Village, but this backfired on them and now they have a random power every night. Each morning Jafar will be allocated a village role along with the morning Blood Board. They will behave exactly like the role from which their ability comes and may be allocated the same ability multiple days in a row. However, they do not get allocated an ability to use for Night One.

Lycan - A villager that has a rare mutation. If targeted by the wolves to be killed, they will turn into a wolf instead of dying. Will appear as a wolf to seer checks and can only die by hanging when on the villagers’ side.

Mayor - Being an elected official has its perks. Once per game in the event of a tie, they have the opportunity to choose if both players die or they select who gets the noose.

Medium - Starting the second night, the Medium is able to ask one question per night to our dearly departed ghosts. The ghost(s) can decide to either answer truthfully or to be dishonest. The information will be provided to the Medium and they can do with it as they see fit. The Medium must not say outright what they learned or they will meet their friends in the afterlife.

Pothead - If this player is attacked by the wolves, the wolves get a case of the munchies and a second attack.

Prostitute - The village prostitute is more of a fun role. They may ONLY communicate by being sexually innuendos, using gifs, emojis, or words. If caught being pure, they contract a horrendous STD and die an excruciating death.

Seer- The seer is able to ask the game mod once each nighttime if a player is a wolf. They will receive a “yes” if the player is a wolf, and a “no” if the player is a villager. But remember, there are other roles that could affect this answer. The seer cannot disclose if they identified a wolf or villager correctly. Doing so will count as a role reveal and will result in immediate death.

Shapeshifter - First night of the game, the shapeshifter can take form of any player of their choice and they will recieve that player's role. Example, if they chose seer, they become a seer too. If they chose a wolf, they become a wolf too. Shapeshifter cannot talk before picking a person and if they don't pick anyone before first morning post, they die.

Sheriff - The sheriff sleeps with a loaded gun under their pillow, WOLVES BEWARE! If the wolves select to kill the sheriff, a Wolf will die at random in the Sheriff’s place. If the Alpha attempts to turn the Sheriff, the Alpha dies. But, if the Elite Alpha attempts to turn the sheriff, they only lose the turn attempt.

Surgeon - The surgeon has the ability to save a player up to three times per game but cannot disclose when they saved. They do not get to select a specific player to save, but rather choose to save or not save during the night. If the surgeon chooses to save on a night a turn is attempted, the turn will be unsuccessful at the cost of two saves, if available.

Time Lord - tick tock, tick tock this player is in control of the game clock. If they are killed by wolves or vote, the game speeds up and everything will be due earlier than usual.

As an example… If killed by wolves…

Traitor - This is a wolf in sheep’s clothing. They behave exactly like a regular villager. If checked by the seer, they will appear as a villager. They are not in the den, and will only switch sides if all other wolves have died, the wheel will be spun to determine if they become a regular or roled killing wolf. But if they are to die by wolf kill or vote, they die as a villager.

Villager - Just a regular villager but still important in finding the pesky wolves.

Village Idiot - Can only speak in typos and gibberish. Immediate death if caught speaking correctly.

Village Jokester - If hung they get to kill one of the people that voted for them. Can be killed by wolves.

Virgin - Another fun role, and is the exact opposite of the prostitute role. The virgin is pure of heart, mind, and body and is repulsed by vulgar talk. Everything that comes out of their innocent mouth must be wholesome or they will meet an untimely demise.

White Wolf - A wolf that feels remorse for what they have become. Starting the second night, the white wolf can choose to kill or not every night. If they do not make a successful wolf kill within three nights, the WW will die. They will NOT be part of the wolf den or in the wolf count. The WW can be turned, but will lose all abilities, and can die by wolves.

Wolf Roles

Alpha - The alpha will have one chance in the game to turn a villager into a wolf, except the sheriff. Choosing to turn the sheriff will result in the DEATH of the alpha.

Bloodhound - Seer equivalent for the wolves but they can ask the exact identity of one player each night starting Night Two. Not in the den but information will be provided to the wolves. If no wolves remain, then they become a killing wolf.

Bloodletter - They spill their own blood and mark their target with it. The wolf blood makes the target appear as a member of the wolfpack to any Seer checks. The blood wears off after two nights, so the target will appear as a wolf on the night they are marked and the subsequent night. Can only be used twice.

Crazed Wolf - The Crazed Wolf has insatiable bloodlust. Starting Night Three, they have the ability to kill two villagers in one night up to two times, at least one night apart. This replaces the typical wolf kill. Order of the kills must be submitted to the mods in their role channel.

Dire Wolf - This love lorn wolf is looking for their perfect mate. The first night of the game, they choose another player to covet. Ashamed of the forbidden love they feel, they cannot reveal who their mate is to their den mates. So in love, if their chosen mate dies, they will be so distraught that they take their own life. Unaware of the Dire Wolf’s obsession, the mate has no knowledge of their devotion and feels nothing if they are to die.

Elite Alpha - The leader of the pack that has the ability to make two turns per game, at least two nights apart. If a turn is used, no wolf kill will happen that night. If the Elite Alpha targets the sheriff to turn, they will not die but they will lose the attempted turn. If the seer checks the Elite Alpha, they will appear as a villager. And if they are voted out, a random player will die alongside them as well.

Shadow Wolf - If this wolf is voted out, they haunt the living: each night, they kill one person who voted for them. The haunting begins on the second night after the vote — voted out on Day 4, they rest on Night 5 and claim their first victim on Night 6.

Werekitten - Total cuteness overload. This adorable wolf can get by any defense. For example: If checked by the seer, they will appear as a villager. If they attack the sheriff, their kill is successful as the poor sap couldn’t stand the thought of shooting someone so adorable. If voted out, their true identity is discovered causing all players to be devastated and all role actions will be silenced for the night.

Wolf - no special abilities but these players are in the den. The majority must agree on which villager to kill each night with any other wolf role in the den. Together, the pack survives.

Wolf Pup - This baby wolf can block a person every night and if that person has a special role, they won't be able to use it for 24 hours. (Example, seer won't be able to ask, sheriff can be killed, etc.) Cannot target the same person two nights in a row. Won’t be in the den, wolves can kill the pup, if they turn them the pup loses their power. The wolf pup can also die if the diseased is in play and turned. If the pup is the last remaining wolf, a change overtakes them where they lose their ability but become an adult killing wolf.

(all wolf roles will be seen as a wolf whether they are in the den or not)

Non-Denominational Roles

Fairy Elf - Once per game, they can perform a happy ending and bring back a player that was lost. To request a wish, any player may contact a mod with the happy ending they would like granted. Then the mod will tell the Fairy Elf a happy ending has been requested and who the happy ending is intended for, they can choose to grant it or not.

Oracle - Starting the second night, this player consults their crystal ball. Doing so allows them to ask the mods a simple yes or no question. The wisdom imparted onto them must be handled lightly and may not be told to the village outright. Otherwise the oracle will meet an untimely end for angering the mods.

Warlock - Once per game, they can grant a wish at the price of a player from the game. To request a wish, any player may contact a mod with the wish they would like granted. Then the mod will tell the Warlock a wish has been requested, and they have the choice to grant it or not. The warlock will not know what the wish is and if granted, the wheel will be spun to determine the price to be paid.

Witch - The witch has the power to use one healing potion and/ or one poison potion during the game. The healing potion can be used to save a wolf victim and the poison can be used to kill another player. The witch can choose to use one, both, or neither potion every other night starting night two.

Wishes can be as detailed or as vague as the requesting living player wants. The dead are not able to participate in the game. Mod discretion to ensure the wish isn’t completely unfair to one side or the other.
